Education Pathway Program
Continued education is a required condition of participation for all house members enrolled in the Educational Pathway program. This pathway is designed to promote long-term stability, career readiness, and personal empowerment through consistent academic engagement.
Program Expectations
House members participating in the Education Pathway must remain in education compliance at all times. Compliance includes: Enrollment in an approved academic, certification, vocational, or training program Maintaining communication with the Director of Supportive Services regarding academic progress Actively working toward completion of the declared education or career pathway
Academic Responsibility
House members are expected to actively monitor their academic standing and communicate promptly when academic challenges arise. Support services are available; however, the responsibility to request assistance remains with the house member.
Academic Probation
If a house member fails an academic course that is part of their approved pathway:
The house member will be placed on academic probation within the program
The failed course must be repeated
An academic success plan will be developed to strengthen performance and accountability
Academic probation is intended to provide structure, reinforce responsibility, and promote successful re-engagement—not punishment.
GPA Monitoring
If a house member’s cumulative GPA falls below 2.0:
A mandatory meeting will be scheduled with the Director of Supportive Services and the Education Support Specialist
The team will review academic progress and implement enhanced academic support strategies
These rules exist to ensure that every house member is equipped with the educational foundation necessary to achieve sustainable independence and career mobility. Continued participation in the Education Pathway Program reflects a shared commitment to growth, accountability, and long-term success.
